Paranormal Activity

Review: A "Paris Hilton video" without the sex and "vivid" dialog - and there is a demon in the room (yes it is that dumb). Independent and low budget doesn't have to be equal to stupid. Unfortunately this movie and The Blair Witch Project are giving ideas to every idiot with a camera to make a movie - please stop.

Review: This was a pretentious piece, full of predictable cliches. A dreadful movie with one gem - Evan Rachel Wood was amazing - with good acting and being funny without turning into a caricature (like the rest of the cast).

Review: This is a movie where the main character blabbers himself to death for 90 mins. Movie had potential, but unfortunately did not deliver. Unless you are a passionate science fiction fan this is probably not your cup of tea.

Review: Poor casting, poor acting, poor ending. I was generous with my grade because I love vigilante movies. The system fails the good guy, so he is forced to brutally get vengeance. In the era of Madoff evil - where system failed us all - who wouldn't want to see him getting water-boarded and executed. Actually who wouldn't want to see tortured some of CEO-s who lost money for their companies, took bailout money from taxpayers, and feel entitled to take fat bonuses (WTF!!!).

Review: Poor effort. A bloated story that goes nowhere for more than 90% of the movie ultimately leaves the exiting ending not fulfilling, or sufficient to pull this movie from the empty space abyss.

Duplicity
Grade: B- (Watch it)
Review: CIA and MI6 agents in a movie about corporate espionage. This movie ended up being fun. Julia Roberts and Clive Owen acting is good. They create a believable sexual tension in this cat and mouse corporate game. It is ironic how movie actually shows that corporate intelligence might be more developed then major government agencies.

Review: If you are looking for a romantic movie this is not a movie for you. I can summarize it in one line: A movie about a bitch and a schmuck. If you want a decent movie with same summary rent The Shape of Things (2003)

Review: Megan Fox is hot, but this movie is dreadful. Side note: I'm getting sick and tired of these sensitive selective vampire/demons. People, even fiction has to follow some logic - vampires used to be predators from the dark side that eat all people without discriminating based on looks or gender.

Review: Interesting artistic and socio-philosophical premise, however I wish I had sent my surrogate to watch the movie (Yippie ki yay mo-fo). Bruce Willis is getting old for action movies and story didn't go anywhere.
